Apple MacBook MB402LL/A 13.3-inch Laptop Reviews
I have always been a big Windows user dating all the way to the release of version 3.1 (about 16 years). I was never interested in a Mac to do what I perceived as the nature of their systems and what I thought a cheap price. Here’s what I discovered when I bought this model of Mac:
1. And it works. The startup time is less than half what my Windows laptop, and stop time (4 seconds) is only a fraction of 30-40 seconds of my Toshiba.
2nd Works with Windows Vista faster than my Toshiba. I still need to run a few Windows applications, I went the easy installation of Bootcamp Vista. It works perfectly, and after having purchased Fusion for $ 79, are now able to run Windows applications alongside Mac apps. Simply incredible.
3rd Battery life is great. I can get 4 hours of mine running in low power mode.
4th Why no card reader? Almost all PCs have card readers for use with the digital camera. Why not include the Mac? : (
5th Does not require the regular restarts that my Windows systems have always required. Simply close the lid and put it to sleep during the night and the next morning lift the lid and you’re back in business. What can I do with my Toshiba but start getting errors in Windows after a couple of days and the need to reset. In addition, my MacBook runs very cool (with little heat) in standby mode, which allows me to put in my brief case in sleep mode, no heating. I could never do it with one of my laptop. They still have heat.
6. There is no need for an antivirus software. Happy, Happy, Happy. Internet surfing is faster because of it. Furthermore, the initiation of an MS Word is faster because the virus is not screening.
I bought and MS Office loaded. There is a lot and is almost identical to its counterpart in Windows features. But, Word and Excel seems to start a little ’slower than the versions of Windows. It’s something that I like.
7th I like the way the electric cord connects with a magnet, instead of linking in. This seems more practical and better in design, but I wonder if the magnet will still be as strong as two years from now?
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this Mac When you compare the price with features, it is only slightly more expensive than comparable PCs. For me, it’s worth the extra $ 200.
In fact, it’s going to make this very expensive, now that my wife and my daughter has given my Mac, both are interested in replacing their PC as well. It is an expense, I have no budget.
Thanks for reading. Hope this helps.
