MacBook Air has amazing new graphics—up to four times faster1—and a larger hard drive. Yet it’s still ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else. It’s just 0.16 inch at its thinnest point, 0.76 inch at its thickest point, and a mere 3.0 pounds.2 With powerful new NVIDIA graphics, a bigger hard drive, 2GB of fast DDR3 SDRAM, and the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, MacBook Air has more power for everyday tasks. But unlike other ultraportable designs, it doesn’t compromise on features. It includes a bright 13.3-inch LED-backlit widescreen display, full-size backlit keyboard, spacious Multi-Touch trackpad, and built-in iSight camera. Engineered for the wireless world, MacBook Air also comes with 802.11n Wi-Fi,3 Bluetooth 2.1, and Remote Disc to deliver unparalleled wireless versatility. Mobile computing has yet another new standard. 1Testing conducted by Apple in October 2008 using preproduction 1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo–based MacBook Air units with NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. MacBook Air systems with 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo and Intel GMA X3100 were shipping units. MacBook Air continuously monitors system thermal and power conditions, and may adjust processor speed as needed to maintain optimal system operation. 2Weight varies by configuration and manufacturing process. 3Based on an IEEE 802.11n draft specification. Apple MacBook Air MB940LL/A 13.3 Inch Laptop Reviews
OK first, I put on, because most people are concerned about the power of the MBA, in addition, many people (me NOT included) to play WoW, so I think it would be a good reference for the air. The players, note that the air is the NVIDIA 9400M graphics card, playing WoW beautifully.
The plans, was to see that my mother, the new MacBook Air was actually faster than my iMac seems fast! It is rarely behind in my work – despite the MBA comparatively slow processor and little RAM, is handled my request with distinction.
The SSD makes a huge difference, IMO. I know this w / o using a hard disk MBA because, as I said earlier, the MBA is faster at the opening of applications and browsing the operating system that my “Big Daddy” iMac. I was rather the desire to work on Mom’s MacBook Air, when I get a spinning beach ball “expect the sign on my iMac.
The weight of the MBA is a plus. The computer can be easily supported on the one hand, while the other sails / types – trying to get any 13 “+ laptop and see the difference.
Battery life is exemplary. I can easily make the air for a period of six hours, with breaks during which he is sleeping and do something else, such as checking email on my iPhone 3G white or talking to someone. Waking the Air from sleep in less than three seconds, if not require a password on the sequel. Since Apple announced, yes, the screen is bright after exiting the standby mode.
Wi-Fi reception is superb. Apple has placed the antenna behind the screen so that is always the best place to get a signal. The air integrated 802.11n plus Bluetooth technology.
The ports are not really much of a problem. All I really have to do with the air is the occasional use thumb drive, the software is installed on the disk with the remote for my iMac. You can also copy files wirelessly from the Air Force and your PC or Mac
Optics. Yes, The Almighty Air manna. I am glad that Apple got rid of the car! Just click on the link below the item to see how much space inside the computer, as the unit of waste. In case of disagreement, are the following to say: In our era, in which we, like the thumb of 4GB discs for under $ 50, do not really need 700 MB of CD or DVD more than 5 GB? Buy / rent movies in iTunes, less expensive or comparable price for movies on DVD. Almost all new album on iTunes are free. Most email clients allow attachments up to 20MB (if your not free, you seriously need to change providers – and MobileMate Gmail is 20MB attachments, but not so for others). The list of discs that are doomed to suffer the same fate as the floppy drive is underway and so on …

The great thing about money is left in the optical drive. As you can see, there is a huge space waster. One could adapt the set of another hard drive in this space.
The screen is the best I have ever seen. Simply amazing. It ‘clear, dry, and the colors are bright and sharp.
The keyboard is exemplary, but collects fingerprints easily. One paper to correct this rub.
The touchpad is excellent compared to Windows Mobile “that I used, however, the MBA is not the new glass trackpad, which I am in love with. (Seriously, you must try the new trackpad. C is total bliss .. .)
Speech recognition is a pleasure! You can make your computer tell you jokes, the time to tell you, tell you what it is that day with only verbal commands, etc.
Overall, just get the MBA if you have a Mac laptop. The only exceptions are if they are too limited budget (a MacBook), or if the process of video (MacBook Pro). In all other cases, the MacBook Air!
